4 things on earth that are small but unusually wise

4 things on earth that are small but unusually wise.
Proverbs 30:24-28 “24 There are four things on earth that are small but unusually wise:
25 Ants—they aren't strong,
but they store up food all summer.
26 Rock badgers—they aren't powerful,
but they make their homes among the rocks.
27 Locusts—they have no king,
but they march in formation.
28 Lizards—they are easy to catch,
but they are found even in kings' palaces.”

    3. Church has become lazy.
    4. Complacent.
    5. Comfortable.
      1. To work diligently means being willing to work hard and do one’s best at any job given.
        1. Diligent-make good use of resources

        7. Diligent-reap abundance through hard work
        8. Lazy-experience poverty because of laziness.
      2. The church has become lethargic instead of diligent when sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
  2. Rock Badgers
    1. They aren’t powerful but they make their homes among the rocky cliffs.
      1. Badgers are said to be the fearless, meanest animals in the world.
        1. Great shelter.
        2. Safe and secure.

        2. They build their families in a wise place.
        3. Rock badgers know exactly where to go when danger comes.
          1. Jesus said He would build His church on the rock and that the gates of hell can not prevail against it.
          2. He was referring to His work of salvation by dying for us on the cross.
Psalms 61:1-5 O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! 2 From the ends of the earth, I will cry to you for help, for my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, 3 for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.”

        4. Genesis 11 the whole world spoke a single language and used the same words.

          2. We have a King but only serve Him when it’s convenient, only serve Him when we want or need something, only serve Him when we are hurting, frustrated, mad, or confused.

        5. The church doesn’t grow cause it’s disciples don’t grow so no one is doing their job.

Matthew 9:35-38 “35 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."

Luke 10:2 “These were his instructions to them: "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

2 Thessalonians 3:1-4 “1 Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord's message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. 2 Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. 4 And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you.”
